THE FOUNDATIONAL STAGE (Balvatika 1, 2, 3 & Grades I & II)
“Nurturing Curiosity Through Joyful Discovery”
The Foundational Stage targets the most critical window of cognitive architecture. Aligned with the National Curriculum Framework for Foundational Stage (NCF-FS), our approach completely eliminates formal examinations, focusing instead on holistic Panch Kosha development through play-based, discovery-driven, and story-led methodologies.
Balvatika 1, 2, & 3 (Pre-School Cohorts): Children explore the world through sensory activities, building blocks, music, art, and puzzle-solving. Learning centers on health/well-being (Physical Development), effective communication (Linguistic Development), and becoming involved learners (Cognitive and Socio-Emotional Development).
Grades I & II: A smooth transition into formal school habits. Students are progressively introduced to systemic language competencies, word formation, reading, and early numeracy through interactive, context-rich, and joyful techniques.
Pedagogical Pillars
Language & Literacy: Multilingual exposure starting with the home language/mother tongue, shifting naturally into English and regional languages via phonics, storytelling, and conversation.
Foundational Numeracy: Conceptualizing numbers, shapes, and patterns through tangible mathematical toys, games, and daily application.
Assessment Ecosystem: Completely stress-free, continuous observation-based assessment recorded through holistic progress cards detailing developmental achievements instead of marks or grades.
