THE MIDDLE STAGE (Grades VI, VII & VIII)

“Fostering Abstract Concept Learning & Analytical Thinking”

The Middle Stage introduces a shift toward subject-oriented academic structures. Led by specialized subject instructors, this phase aims to transition students from mere factual accumulation to deep conceptual clarity and interdisciplinary critical analysis.

Curriculum Focus: Abstract concepts across science, mathematics, social sciences, and humanity fields are explored through inquiry-based frameworks.

Vocational Skill Exposure: In compliance with the NEP 2020 mandate, students participate in short vocational skill modules (e.g., Coding, Data Science, Pottery, Gardening, Electronics, Financial Literacy) during “bagless periods” to cultivate practical aptitude and respect for all forms of labor.

Key Subject Pillars

Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology): Explored through a discovery method where empirical experimentation in modern laboratories validates classroom lessons.

Mathematics: Introducing advanced algebra, geometry, and foundational statistics, emphasizing mathematical modeling and problem-solving.

Social Sciences (History, Geography, Civics): Analyzed with an emphasis on historical cause-and-effect, civic duties, global geography, and constitutional values.

Language & Literature: Enhancing critical appreciation of classical and contemporary literature, public speaking skills, and structural essay writing.
